About The Program
The SMILE Financial Assistance Program is designed to ease the financial burden on SMILE families by covering essential costs in three vital areas: rehabilitative therapy, adaptive equipment, and respite services. Rehabilitative therapy includes services like speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and other treatments that support children’s development and well-being. Adaptive equipment includes necessary items such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, commodes, and sensory tools that enable children to live more comfortably and independently at home. Respite services provide families with much-needed relief, allowing caregivers to take a break from the demands of daily care.
Our goal is to help families avoid the difficult choices they often face—such as deciding between essential therapy sessions or postponing vital equipment purchases due to financial constraints. Through this program, we aim to provide families with access to the care and tools their children need to thrive, supporting their physical, emotional, and social development.
