At SMILE Canada, we highly value the privacy and confidentiality of our donors' personal information. We take great care to protect all the information we collect from our donors, including their names, contact information, and donation history. Rest assured that we never sell, rent or trade our donors' personal information to other organizations or individuals, regardless of the circumstances.

For donors who choose to make electronic donations through our website, their personal information will be kept confidential and will not be shared with any other organizations. Similarly, for those who respond to our mail solicitations, we will never share their personal information with any other organizations or individuals. We also want to assure donors who donate through face-to-face canvassers that their personal information will be kept confidential and will never be shared with any other organizations.

 It's important to note, however, that if an Employee, Volunteer, Client or Donor chooses to decline to provide their personal information to SMILE Canada, it may impact our ability to provide them with certain services or process their donation. 

We value our relationship with our Clients, Volunteers, Donors, and Employees and are committed to protecting their personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. 5. LIMITING COLLECTION, USE, DISCLOSURE, AND RETENTION

At SMILE Canada, we are committed to collecting and using personal information in a responsible and transparent manner. We make every effort to clearly identify the purpose for which we are collecting personal information at the time of collection, whether it's through oral, electronic, or written means. However, in certain extreme circumstances such as emergency response, it may not be possible to do so immediately.

We take the confidentiality of our Employees, Volunteers, Donors, and Clients' personal information very seriously. At SMILE Canada, we retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the identified purposes for its collection or as required by applicable laws.
